RAI Resistant Support Group

Meets: The ThyCa RAI Resistant Support Group holds free virtual meetings on the third Sunday of each month except June from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

Note: The RAI Resistant Support Group does not meet in June due to Father's Day.

This group discusses topics of interest to people who have been diagnosed with radioactive iodine resistant (or refractory) disease. If you aren't sure what RAI resistant disease is, we encourage you to watch this short YouTube video that explains it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQhMix-ADCk.

Members of our group or others are welcome. Please email our group facilitators at rai-resistant@thyca.org for answers to any questions and the instructions on how to join us. Once we give you the instructions, they will be good for all our meetings.

Nothing discussed at a support group should be considered as a replacement for a doctor's care. We do not give medical advice. We do share support and our own experiences. We are each ultimately responsible for our own care.
