How does the virtual conference work?
On the days of the conference you can log in with the credentials from your registration email. You can even test logging in the day before the conference begins to confirm your credentials work. Just like an in-person conference, you will be able to explore the exhibit hall, and attend sessions. You will need to follow the schedule to attend sessions at the correct times. You can interact with other attendees in the Meet-up Lounge, which will feature multiple chat rooms. Don’t worry if you miss a session, we will record sessions for later playback.
How do I log into the conference platform?
- Go to https://thyca.pub/2026ConfRegistration
- Click the Login button at the top of the page.
- Enter the email address and password you used when you registered for the conference.
- You are now in the conference platform! If you are having issues accessing the conference platform, email conference@thyca.org
What is the Conference Exhibit Hall?
We encourage everyone to check out ThyCa’s Conference Expo. Many of our sponsors will have information booths where you can learn about the drugs they provide for different members of ThyCa‘s community. Additionally, ThyCa will have our own information table where you can find some of our materials and learn how to order printed copies. ThyCa will also have spirit gear that you can order to help create thyroid cancer awareness.
How do I get contact information for people I meet at the virtual conference?
One of the choices on the registration form is “Include Name and Email in Conference Directory.” If you select Yes, your information will be included in the Conference Directory. Note: if you select No or leave this question blank, you will be left out of the Directory. After the conference, we will provide all conference registrants with a copy of the Directory. You can also exchange information individually with others at the conference.
Do you have tips for getting the most out of the conference?
- Find a comfortable and quiet space to focus.
- Plan to enter the conference at least 15 minutes before the first event to watch the welcome video and get used to navigating the virtual platform.
- Plan ahead and choose the sessions you want to join in advance.
- Make time to visit the exhibit hall. At the allotted times, exhibitor representatives will be live at each booth to chat with and ask questions.
- Connect with other attendees in the Meet-Up Lounge between sessions.
Who do I contact if I have questions about the conference or need technical support before or during the conference?
Email conference@thyca.org for conference questions and tech support. We want to help clear up any confusion you may have while we count down to the beginning of the conference, on September 20th. Once the conference starts, you can also go to the help desk on the virtual conference home page to have your questions answered.
I am getting errors while on the ThyCa conference website. What can I do?
Clear the browser cache and cookies
Clearing the cache and cookies from a web browser is an important first-step for almost any troubleshooting for internet browsing. The ‘cache’ is a tool used by your internet browser to speed up the page loading process. However, sometimes it can cause a problem when websites are updated and developed as files saved in the cache may conflict with what’s actually coded into the website. Clearing cache and cookies is a way we can be sure that any issues you may come across are actually something wrong with the website, rather than inconsistencies caused by using different browsers.
Keyboard shortcuts for most browsers
If you are using Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox you can quickly clear cache with a keyboard shortcut. While in your browser, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously on the keyboard to open the appropriate window.
If clearing the Cache and Cookies on your device does not solve the problem, please email: conference@thyca.org
