Thyroid Cancer Support Group Begins in Fort Worth, Texas

Thyroid cancer continues to increase rapidly in incidence, and ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association, Inc. is pleased to announce the formation of the ThyCa Fort Worth, Texas, Support Group. The free support group will meet on the first Monday evening of each month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning Monday, April 7, 2008. The meetings are held at the Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth, Education Classroom on the Plaza Level, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas. The group welcomes people at all phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as their family members and friends. Debra Drzich is the group’s volunteer facilitator.
